Macuch Steel contributed to the construction of the new Bethel-Hanberry Elementary School in Blythewood, South Carolina, a project designed to foster a dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Utilizing 614 tons of structural steel, Macuch Steel supported the creation of a modern educational facility that features a “main street” concept for communal areas and classroom wings tailored to diverse learning styles. The school’s design emphasizes natural light, biophilic elements, and views of nature to promote student well-being. Through the coordinated efforts of its Structural Steel, Steel Erection, Stair & Rail, and EMCO divisions, Macuch Steel helped bring this innovative and inspiring space to life.
