At Em-Co Metal Products, we are proud to set a high standard for structural steel fabrication at our plant outside of Savannah, Georgia in Twin City. Em-Co is a smaller company, that specializes in heavy welding and excels in high-man-hour-per-ton types of work. We fabricate beams, columns, trusses, stairs, rails, ladders, and supply bar joists and metal deck. Our equipment provides fabrication processes such as sawing, burning, welding, shearing, punching, and magnetic drilling. We use carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to create many standard and specialty products, some of which include specialty access stairs, ladders, anchor bolts, and embeds. After fabrication, we provide a range of finishing options, including powder coating of rails, hot dipped galvanizing, various sophisticated coatings, standard primers, and black iron. Our overhead cranes allow us to provide various size options; we offer steel fabrications in lengths typically up to 60', widths up to 17', and weights that range up to 10 tons, with 170' lengths possible according to our clients' specifications. We meet a wide range of high industry standards such as those set by the AISC, AWS, ICC, OSHA, ASNT, and FEMA seismic requirements.
